The old silo at the pumpkin farm.

Thanks to the hidden talent of my amazing friend

for the following narrative......

As children the silo meant something different to my brother and I. Our grandfather, Perry, built this with his very own hands under our ever watchful little eyes. That little house, the one at the bottom, I spent more time there the summer of grandpa’s passing than anywhere else that comes to mind. The scent of pipe tobacco and grandpa’s aftershave forever left behind on a few old articles of clothing that still hang from the west wall to this day. Not a shred of grain
has touched the walls of this silo for
20 years but the essence of grandpa will keep it filled forever.
